The students filled the stage that evening in the lovely Wright Auditorium. The sound of the singing was beautiful and well prepared. The playing of Orff instruments and movements of smaller groups of students filled the stage and auditorium with creativity, excitement, and beautiful sound. All of this was produced by fourth and fifth grade students from all over the state of Alabama. Do they want to work hard and go back again? You bet!

Tuesday, September 30th, beginning at 6 p.m. grades 4-6 will be conducting a Homework Help Workshop for parents. During the session, parents will learn about behavior expectations, grading procedures, discipline policies, homework procedures, and planner use. Questions are welcome as are the parents of children in grades 4-6.

Janet Taylor made a visit to Graham to see the progress Mrs. Pressley's class is making on their PowerPoint projects. The students collaborated with a partner to create a fable. Now, they are working together in the computer lab to create a presentation of their fable, using PowerPoint. Ms. Taylor enjoyed working with the students. The students enjoyed meeting Mrs. Pressley's teacher!!

Graham will receive National Recognition again this year for the number of rainforest t-shirts sold- over 300! Thanks for all of the hard work to those that sold, especially Mrs. Hendrix's class; they sold 39 shirts. Mrs. Pressley's class came in 2nd place with at total of 20 t-shirts sold. Great job!
