The Book Fair is Open!!!

Graham Elementary's School Book Fair is open daily from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The book fair will end on Friday, October 7, 2011. Grandparents are invited to visit the book fair next week and eat lunch with their grandchildren. The schedule is as follows:
Kindergarten & 1st grade- Monday, 10/3
2nd & 3rd grade- Tuesday, 10/4
4th grade- Wednesday, 10/5
5th grade- Thursday, 10/6

Awards Day, Wednesday, May25th

The awards ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. at Harwell Auditorium.

Please remember no early check outs per Mrs. Dyer. We want to give each child in every grade level the respect they are due for all of their hard work. Thank you for your understanding.

Graduations are Tuesday, May 24th

Kindergarten Graduation: 8:30 a.m.

6th grade Graduation: 1 p.m.

Both will take place at Harwell Auditorium.

Rescheduled 4th Grade Field Trip

The 4th grade field trip to The Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL is Tuesday, May 10th. We will depart from school NO LATER than 7:30 a.m. We will return between 4:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Graham Generosity

Graham faculty, staff, and students are being asked to donate school supplies to University Place Elementary in Tuscaloosa. This school is relocating to another school building that has been closed for years in order to resume classes on Monday. Items will be delivered on Thursday. Let's show them that Graham Generosity!! Just one box of crayons can make a difference. Thank you.

Kindergarten Registration Today

Place: Front entrance of Graham School
Time: 8:30- 2 p.m.

Mrs. Estelle's 2nd graders and Mrs. Killough's 6th graders have been collaborating on powerpoint presentations on the subject of bees. Their rooms have been buzzing with excitement over the photographs and special effects. The older children shared their own powerpoints to help the 2nd graders get an understanding of a powerpoint presentation. Everyone enjoyed this shared learning experience and they plan to showcase many of the creations at the technology fair in May.
