Graham Goes Green and Gold for Muscular Dystrophy

Graham School students have once again stepped up to the challenge, to help others when they need help. During the month of March, the Graham Student Council has been selling green and gold shamrocks for Muscular Dystrophy and they raised $650—enough to send one MD child to summer camp. Each morning, 5th and 6th grade members visited classrooms selling green shamrocks for $1 or gold ones for $5. To further motivate the students, the student council was offering ice cream parties to the classrooms buying the most shamrocks. Winning the party for K-3 was Mrs. Frieda Butler’s kindergarten, and the winner for 4-6 was Mrs. Donna Edmiston’s 5th grade. All students are to be commended for supporting this worthy cause.
