The students at Graham Elementary School are learning about the environment and how they can help in the conservation of endangered ecosystems by selling rain forest t-shirts. Shirts are $14.00.Ms. King's 1st grade has been selling rainforest t-shirts for the past 13 years. Every ten shirts sold help protect an acre of the rainforest.Last year alone Graham Elementary School was recognized as one of the top 4 schools in Alabama to have protected 21 acres of the rainforest.So far the school has protected 135 acres!If you are interested in purchasing a rainforest t-shirt please see a student or faculty member at Graham. Deadline for orders is April 10th. Checks should be made to The Earth Foundation.
